Ashford Art and Design College, Ashford - April 2013

Quite frankly this place is a dump. Not one bit of it hasn't been trashed, gratified, or covered in Pigeon poop. My time would have been much better spent in the Papa Johns over the road. I visited this on the same night that I visited the bomb shelter in the grounds, which was a far more pleasant experience, and can be read about here. As stated in that blog I'd missed a really obvious entrance to both building and shelter, with this building requiring a more athletic transfer to gain access as opposed to the shelter's squeeze.

Ditton Research Laboratory, Ditton - May 2013

If there's one thing that I love doing it's having a 12 hour poker and drinking session until 7am, getting 3 hours sleep, then heading out to explore places that reek of pigeon poop. So that's where I found myself this afternoon. I was so lethargic that I couldn't even be bothered to change lenses, so everything is taken with my 35mm prime.

 Explored with Starlight.

Before I get on to the photos, I'd just like to say thanks to everyone who reads this. The blog was a year old in the week, and has had almost 6,800 views, most of which since January. Cheers guys.

The Peak District - April 2013

In another non-exploring post (sorry) I thought I'd share some photos from my trip last month to the Peak Distrcit. With cold and windy conditions the entire way up from Ashford to Hathersage on the Friday afternoon, not to mention constant traffic and a convoluted shopping list, it looked as if things were not boding well for our weekend of walking. How wrong I was.
